Gingham Glory Quilt Tutorial

I am so excited to show you the next step for our Gingham Glory quilt! Now that our 18-inch nine-patch blocks are all ready, it is time to assemble them into rows. When joining your rows pretty sides together, make sure those seams match up perfectly—remember to "pinch it, pleat it, or pull it" if you need to, and always backstitch because my grandma said so! 👵

Once the main patchwork center is complete, we are giving it a beautiful finish by adding two layers of borders. My favorite shortcut is to simply sew the border strips straight onto the sides and trim the excess fabric right off the ends—it makes the process so quick and simple. Check out the full assembly in the Gingham Glory Quilt Video to see exactly how it all comes together.
