Fabric Fuse

We are stepping away from our quilts for just a minute to make something super fun: some precious, NO-SEW embellished jeans!

In this video, I’ll walk you through how to use one of my absolute favorite products, Thermo Web’s Fabric Fuse, to add a gorgeous crocheted trim straight down the leg of your pants. Whether you are prepping a cute wardrobe for upcoming sewing retreats or just want to add a little flair to your everyday look, this is the easiest way to customize your clothes—no sewing machine required!

I’ll show you exactly how to apply the glue starting right beneath the pocket and following the side seam all the way down. The instructions say to use a paintbrush, but because our trim is a little thicker, we are just going to press it right into a line of the adhesive. Just let it dry for four to six hours, and you're good to go! I know altering clothes can seem a little intimidating, but this method is completely stress-free.
