The Road Trip To Hamilton!

Let's go get Nana because we are headed on a 12-hour road trip to Missouri! It is such a beautiful drive through the rolling hills and the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, and Nana and I spent the trip listening to podcasts and loading up on snacks. (I had to stop for a cinnamon roll, chocolate caramel clusters, grapes, and coffee cake, because if I don't have exactly what I want when I want it, it is a problem!) There is just something incredibly special about pulling into Hamilton and getting met with that beautiful view because I know an amazing trip is waiting for us.

Right after we arrived and made a quick stop at the grocery store after our 12-hour drive, I had the sweetest bonus encounter! I ran into three fabulous ladies from Arkansas: Miss Kathy, Karen, and Linda. They are on a fun girls' quilting trip, staying at a local Airbnb with their sewing machines already set up and waiting for the quilt shops to open tomorrow! It was so much fun chatting with them and hearing how they all met through quilting. I always tell my husband when I meet sweet people like this that I am pretty sure they could be my new best friends, and meeting these lovely ladies was the absolute perfect start to our Hamilton adventure!
