DIY Punch Surprise Birthday Gift
The little ladies are turning five, so I wanted to make them a special birthday morning surprise! I saw this genius idea to make a punch-board prize box and knew I had to recreate it. For this craft, I used a piece of cardboard wrapped in leftover princess wrapping paper, a sweet little $5 flamingo tea set from Walmart, and five plastic punch cups, one for each year!
I'll show you how to take your cups and place a few pieces of the tea set inside each one. To make the "punch" part, I simply cut some tissue paper in half, stretched it over the top of the cups, and secured it with my trusty, short-corded glue gun. Once the cups are covered, you just hot glue them straight onto your wrapped cardboard, number them one through five, and you are done! On their birthday morning, the girls will sit at their counter tower and punch through the tissue paper of each cup to retrieve their fun little prizes!
