Behind the Scenes of Filming with MSQC

Nana and I are taking you behind the scenes of our amazing trip to Missouri Star Quilt Company! I was absolutely thrilled to finally film with the incredible Misty and see the gorgeous "Seesaw" quilt she designed as a special nod to the little ladies. She made it incredibly beginner-friendly with the sweetest raw edge applique ladybugs, which you know I absolutely love to do. It was such an honor to watch her work her magic, and she even showed me a few other beautiful quilts she created as simple "palette cleansers" after working on trickier point designs.

Even when you are making a super simple tumbler shape or a relaxing palette cleanse quilt, you still want to make sure you match those seams perfectly. Just remember to pinch it, pleat it, or pull it to get everything lined up right! And of course, no matter what beautiful Missouri Star pattern you are sewing, you always want to backstitch when you start and stop because grandma said so.
