2027 Projects!

It has been a wonderfully chaotic week here at the shop! Between getting ready for a sewing retreat, prepping for the little ladies' upcoming birthday party, and designing our big projects for the new year, there is a lot going on!

Many of you have been asking what we are doing for our big 2027 projects, and I finally spilled the beans in my latest video! We are going to be doing half appliqué and half patchwork. You will be making 10 appliqué blocks and 10 patchwork blocks, each finishing at a nice big 14x14 inches. I have been busy cutting and organizing all the kits using my absolute favorite storage trick: standard plastic dish pans! They are perfect for keeping all the different appliqué pieces from getting mixed up.

I also spent some time getting the little ladies' birthday party decorations ready. We are doing an Alice in Wonderland theme, and I found the sweetest posters on Amazon that I mounted to foam board. One of them says, "The secret, Alice, is to surround yourself with people who make your heart smile... it's then, only then, that you'll find Wonderland."

It is so true! When you find your people—and y'all are my people!—life is amazing.
