How it all began
This quilt business has been in the making since 2002...
That's when it all began. I had a little fella and began hoarding all of the things he had worn and soon I had a situation that had to be dealth with ... too many clothes and not enough space. I had at this point been sewing for years and thought I bet I can make him a memory quilt from his baby clothes and it turned out as good as a first memory quilt ever could but now all these years later I have made hundreds of custom quilts, memory quilts, and t-shirt quilts for nieces, nephews, friends, graduates, babies, in memory of lost loved ones and too many to admit for myself. When I began this journey I was afraid to wash and use my custom quilts because they were all so special to me just as I hope this one will be special for you. I had a very dear friends mother tell me to let my baby drag them through the mud if he wanted because if he didn't use them they wouldn't be special to him . We have taken our quilts on road trips, to ball games, campouts, made tents in the living room, and curled up on the couch with them. I have come to appreciate that the more they are washed the softer they get and every time are used they become a little more special. I hope you will use, wash, and enjoy this quilt as much as I have enjoyed making it for you.
